You into kissing too? is a series of A3 works on paper looking at reconnecting in the shadow of COVID-19. Fully vaxxed and ready to fuck or just looking to go home?

The artist received a message on a dating app asking “you into kissing too?”. This series reflects on how kissing has become a question, sex without kissing not being merely an intimacy issue anymore. Renavigating touch; relearning intimacy with family, friends and strangers; questioning risks of travel to see loved ones and lovers; restoring frayed connections and initiating IRL interactions all being part of the summer of 2021.

Made as vaccinations rolled out, clubs re-opened, social events returned, travel regulations relaxed, sex became normalised and breakthrough cases began. The series consists of found material, personal photographs and handwritten text all produced throughout this time period
